Mary's "You Remind Me" was NOT a sample of this song. A sample has to consist of 3 or more words. Mary says "Remind me" and that's it, Even the melody & deliver is different.

ReplyDeleteYou researched it more than I did. While this may not be a technical "sample" I think that MJBs song @ 1:40 sounds very much like a piece from the original song posted @ 1:23.
